Noramay Cadena

Noramay is a Founding Partner at MiLA Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm in Los Angeles focused on funding “tech you can touch.” MiLA leverages deep expertise in manufacturing and supply chain to help founders overcome production challenges and bring products to market in a capital-efficient way.

She is also a lead investor in Portfolia’s Rising America Fund, investing in Latinx, Black, and LGBTQ founders, and serves on the advisory board of the Homeboy Industries Ventures and Jobs Fund, which supports job reentry programs for formerly incarcerated individuals through business investment.

In 2020, Noramay was named one of the 50 most renowned women in robotics globally and one of the top 100 influential Latinas in the United States. She is a frequent speaker at major platforms including TEDx and the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship and has been featured in Forbes, Mashable, TechCrunch, and Entrepreneur.

Noramay is a Kauffman Fellow and holds an MBA, a Master’s degree in Engineering Systems, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
