Noramay Cadena is a Co Founder and Managing Partner of MiLA Capital, an early stage venture fund in Los Angeles created to advance next generation hardware platforms (IoT, robotics, industry 4.0, frontier tech, etc.). Noramay is also the founder and former Executive Director of the Latinas in STEM Foundation, a Mayoral appointee to the board of the Housing Authority Commission of Los Angeles, and serves on the founding board of the Excelencia Charter Academy, a new K-8 charter school in Los Angeles.
Noramay holds an MBA, a Master’s in Engineering Systems and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering – all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has been a featured speaker in platforms including TEDx and the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship and been featured in Forbes, Mashable, TechCrunch and Entrepreneur Magazine. She’s also a Kauffman Fellow (Class 23).
