Repurpose produced compostable, plant-based alternatives to single-use goods found in our households. The firm is taking strides in reducing plastic waste by introducing alternative materials like corn, sugarcane, and bamboo into theproduction process. Products take the typical compostable paper form, as well as typical products (clear cups and silverware).

About the Founder

Lauren Gropper

‍

Lauren Gropper founded Repurpose to address the waste created in households from single-use goods like tableware and cutlery. While working as a sustainability consultant in Hollywood, Gropper saw firsthand how much waste was created on film sets. She founded Repurpose to help greenify sets and work around the molded behavior of the cast and crews; through figuring out what worked on sets, Gropper lead Repurose in becoming a category leader in the sustainable cups and cultery market.
