Sonia Arrison
Sonia Arrison is an entrepreneur, investor, and best-selling author focused on the societal and economic impact of transformative technologies. She is the founder of 100 Plus Capital, Chair of the Alliance for Longevity Initiatives, and an advisor to Felicis Ventures and Bioverge, investing at the intersection of biology, technology, health, and longevity.
Earlier in her career, Sonia co-founded Unsugarcoat Media, which was later acquired by Medium. She was also an associate founder of Singularity University and served as a director and Senior Fellow in Tech Studies at the Pacific Research Institute. Additionally, she was a weekly columnist for TechNewsWorld, writing extensively on emerging technologies and public policy.
Sonia’s work centers on exponentially advancing technologies and their implications for society. Her most recent book, 100 Plus: How the Coming Age of Longevity Will Change Everything, From Careers and Relationships to Family and Faith, became a national best seller and explores the social, economic, and cultural effects of radical human longevity. The book has established her as a leading voice in the longevity movement and fuels global speaking engagements with business, policy, and investment audiences.
In addition to her investing and writing, Sonia serves on the boards of the Thiel Foundation, the Foresight Institute, the Alliance for Longevity Initiatives, and Woodland School. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Fraser Institute in Vancouver, British Columbia. Sonia is the author of two earlier books, Western Visions and Digital Dialog, and has published numerous papers on technology, innovation, and public policy.
