Lisa Frusztajer
Lisa is a lead investor in Portfolia’s Enterprise Fund and a highly active angel investor in the Boston and New York markets. She led the Enterprise Fund’s investment in Next Wave Robotics and brings a strong operating and technical perspective to evaluating early-stage technology companies. In addition to her work at Portfolia, Lisa is a Venture Partner with Converge Venture Partners, a seed and early-stage fund focused on software, internet, digital media, SaaS, cloud, mobile, and advanced information technology companies across Boston, New England, and New York City. In this role, she supports founders with capital, strategic guidance, and operational insight during critical stages of growth.

She began her career at Sun Microsystems, contributed to the growth of the software startup KYOS, and later worked at Avid Technology, a leader in audio and video solutions for media organizations and independent professionals. These roles shaped her ability to assess both technical innovation and commercial viability.
Currently, Lisa focuses on angel investing, consulting, and operating a real estate management company. Her background spans marketing, engineering, and project management across technology, manufacturing, higher education, and finance. She serves on the Board of Trustees of a secondary school and has held board roles with several education-focused nonprofit organizations.
