Lisa Coca

Lisa Coca is a seasoned venture investor, corporate innovation leader, and board director with deep experience in technology, sustainability, and climate-focused investing. She is Partner, Climate Fund at Toyota Ventures, where she leads the firm’s efforts to invest in companies driving carbon neutrality and other climate solutions.

Before joining Toyota Ventures, Lisa was a Managing Director and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Intel’s Emerging Growth & Incubations Division, where she helped build disruptive new business initiatives. She was also a founding member of GE Ventures, where she launched and led the enterprise software investment practice and developed the firm’s EDGE program to accelerate portfolio company growth. Earlier in her career, she held strategy and business development roles across finance, sales, and marketing at major firms including GE Capital, Bankers Trust, and Deutsche Bank.

Lisa serves on multiple boards and advisory councils, including as an Independent Board Director at Apollo Realty Income Solutions and on the Board of Trustees for the Girls’ Middle School, alongside her roles as advisor and judge for venture and startup communities. She is a Wharton School graduate with honors (University of Pennsylvania) and earned her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, combining deep financial and operational expertise with a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and inclusive leadership.
