Darshana Zaveri

Darshana Zaveri is a Managing Partner of Catalyst Health Ventures, where she is actively involved in all aspects of fund management, including investment strategy, portfolio oversight, and capital raising. She has led and participated in numerous successful investments across medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare technology, with a strong track record of value creation and strategic exits.

Darshana led Catalyst’s investments in Augmenix Inc. and nVision Medical, both of which were acquired by Boston Scientific, as well as Maxwell Health, which was acquired by Sun Life Financial. She also led investments in Aria CV, Atacor Medical, Panther Therapeutix, and Instylla Inc., and was actively involved with portfolio company Allegro Diagnostics, which was acquired by Veracyte. She serves on the boards of directors of all currently active Catalyst Health Ventures portfolio companies and is Chair of the Board of Aria CV, providing hands-on governance and strategic leadership.

Darshana brings more than a decade of experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Prior to co-founding Catalyst Health Ventures, she was an investigator at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she played an integral role in drug development programs spanning oncology, metabolic disease, and immunology. Earlier in her career, she worked at Genome Therapeutics, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and completed an internship at the United Nations. She has authored multiple scientific publications and peer-reviewed journal articles, reflecting a strong foundation in translational science.

In addition to her venture investing work, Darshana serves as a Catalyst at the Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as a board director of TiE Boston, and as a lead advisor to the Portfolia FemTech Fund. These roles reflect her commitment to supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and women’s health.

Darshana holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Bombay University in Mumbai, India.
