Brita is also a Venture Partner at Better Food Ventures and a long-time leader in the ecosystem, previously advising startups, investors, and institutions through her own strategic consulting firm. Her annual Food Tech Landscape and Restaurant Tech Ecosystem analyses have become widely referenced resources for the industry, helping investors and entrepreneurs understand trends across digital platforms, supply chain solutions, and emerging technologies.
Earlier in her career, Brita worked as a corporate finance and M&A investment banker focused on consumer, media, and tech industries with firms including Robertson Stephens, Cowen, and ThinkEquity in San Francisco.
She holds a BA in Mathematics from Pitzer College and an MA in Food Culture and Communications from the Università di Scienze Gastronomiche in Parma, Italy, grounding her investment work in both analytical rigor and deep cultural context for food systems innovation.
