Angela Jackson

Angela Jackson is a veteran early-stage investor, entrepreneur, and community leader with deep roots in venture capital and startup ecosystems. She is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Portland Seed Fund, a highly regarded private/public seed venture fund that has backed ~100 high-growth companies across technology, health, consumer, and energy sectors in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Under her leadership, the fund has achieved notable exits and supported diverse teams while also overseeing the Portland State University Business Accelerator, a hub for emerging health, tech, and cleantech ventures. Earlier in her career, Angela was a founding investor in Oregon Angel Fund, served as President of the Portland chapter of Keiretsu Forum, and chaired the Angel Oregon investment competition, helping shape the region’s angel investing community. She also held senior roles with incubators and early-stage companies, where she drove strategy, partnerships, and growth. Angela’s work has been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as a Woman of Influence and by the Technology Association of Oregon as Tech Champion of the Year.

Angela serves on the boards of industry and community organizations and is a frequent mentor and judge for entrepreneur pitch competitions locally and nationally. She holds a BA in English and History from Boston University and an MA in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon, blending analytical rigor with strategic vision to help founders scale and succeed.
