Simple Steps:
1. Pick Your Fund
Choose between Women’s Health Fund IV or Rising America Fund III—based on your values and investment goals.

2. Determine Your Amount
- Average Investment: $35,000
- Minimum Investment: $10,000
3. Sign Your Agreement
Once you select your fund and amount, you’ll electronically sign your subscription documents with Portfolia. After signing, our team will make a personal warm introduction to Alto IRA to begin your IRA transfer.
4. Introduction to Alto IRA*
Portfolia has secured $0 setup fees for all investors using an IRA. Fees range based on total amount invested; $0–$29,999.99 invested: $18.75/quarter for first 2 years; $37.50 thereafter and for $30,000+ invested: $50/quarter for first 2 years; $100 thereafter.
You’ll receive a guided introduction email from Portfolia + Alto with instructions to open your Self-Directed IRA.
5. Transfer Funds to Your Alto IRA
With Alto’s team, you will:
- Set up your Alto IRA account
- Link an existing IRA or initiate a rollover from a 401(k)
- Transfer the amount you plan to invest into your chosen Portfolia fund
Alto provides live support via phone and email to ensure this step is smooth.
6. Finalize Your Investment
Once your IRA funds arrive in your Alto account, Alto will handle:
- All required documentation
- Sending the investment wire directly to Portfolia
Timing: Typically 1–2 weeks (varies by your current IRA custodian)
