We are looking for a full stack product designer who can easily work across user experience, interactive design and visual design to create a highly engaging digital experience. At Portfolia, we are in the process of rethinking our product platform to create a more engaging experience and are seeking a creative person who can take our high level vision and turn those into an engaging user experience and visually captivating designs.
We create unique investing products, providing an engaging experience with competitive returns and market impact. Portfolia intends to activate 100,000 new women entrepreneurial investors by 2022 and create a multi-billion dollar global network of engaged investors. We invest in entrepreneurial companies we want in the marketplace and use our networks to make them successful. Portfolia is a fast-growth, venture backed consumer fintech company. As the Product Designer at Portfolia, you are key to the development of a product platform that changes the way women invest, collaborate and drive innovation. Your responsibilities will include
Design a completely innovative digital investing experience customized for women - one that is extremely engaging, intuitive and easily navigable
Collaborate with the full team to translate, develop and test complex ideas and concepts into visually pleasing and completely compelling user-friendly designs
Develop wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
Be an advocate for design thinking and be an ambassador of design culture, promoting the role and its importance to the company and our vision
Strong passion and commitment to Portfolia’s mission
Full stack designer with clearly demonstrable experience across User Experience, Visual Design, and Interaction Design
Familiarity & understanding of interaction design and information architecture
Experience building high end consumer products targeting a female demographic
Cross platform design experience
Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships across design, engineering, product, and marketing
Artistic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in design software (e.g. Adobe, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin)
Portfolio demonstrating extraordinary quality in product design
The right candidate may reside anywhere but must be available to come to San Francisco Bay area occasionally.
